DESCRIPTION:Speaker: Andrew Robb\, AECOM \nThis session will focus on the extensive exercise undertaken between 2016 and 2018 to prepare directional road signage in Aberdeen for the Western Peripheral Route\, which opened in late 2018. \nWith approximately 700 signs to review on the local road network in Aberdeen\, a detailed sign review and design exercise was undertaken in conjunction with the routing strategy developed by Aberdeen City Council and partners in 2015. \nThis evening will set out the process undertaken\, with motorists in the City now signed according to a new strategy that discourages cross-city centre movements\, in turn promoting a safer and more permeable City centre for pedestrians\, cyclists and public transport. \nRefreshments will be provided. \nBook online now or contact Membership Services\, Tel: 01536 740104 or email: membership@ciltuk.org.uk quoting the event code: SR0454
