Professor James Attwood Memorial Lecture 2021
Tuesday November 2 @ 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm
The ‘Professor James Attwood Memorial Lecture 2021’ will be held at the Town House in Inverness on Tuesday, 2 November 2021 from 7 to 9pm.
This annual lecture is hosted by CPDC member organisations on a rotational basis and in 2021 this privilege falls to the Chartered Institute of Highways and Transport. Not only does the host organisation sponsor the evening, but the speaker for the lecture is also selected by the host organisation for the evening, on a subject normally relevant to their own organisation.
The evening commences from 1830 with a finger buffet, tea and coffee and the event also features a Q&A session with the speaker towards the end of the evening at 9pm.
This event is open to all members of CPDC organisations and also to the General Public. Please watch this space for further details of the evening and any booking requirements.
In November 2020, the evening was hosted by CPDC member ‘Institute of Structural Engineers’ and the lecture ‘Controlled Demolition and our Illustrious Forebears’ given by Mr Bob Johnstone, Managing Director of Keltbray Demolition Services.
